Krynica Zdroj is a tourist resort. It is situated in the Poprad Landscape Park (Popradzki Park Krajobrazowy). It is a base from where many mountain trips start. Thanks to favorable climate and very proper relief this town is one of the biggest polish winter sport resorts, with many well prepared and differentiated ski-runs. You can practice downhill skiing on the slopes situated in Krynica – Slotwiny or on the slopes of Jaworzyna Krynicka (where there is a cableway). Very close to the town there is also a resort of Two Valleys: Muszyna – Wierchomla, where is situated the longest Polish chair-lift.
